Our plate collections feature gorgeous graphics designed by the artist Rana Salam, with stories of nostalgic pop art images from around the Middle East.
This plate illustrates a charming image of 1950s Egyptian actress and belly dancer Tahiya Kiryoka. Rana Salam adds her signature orange Damascene Rose graphics to her hair, incorporating the Arabic-written graphics found on the original cover of the magazine.
The words in Arabic ‘Ya Nassib!’ meaning ‘What Luck!’ are written in Arabic. The Vintage color palette from the original graphics adds nostalgia and charm
Perfect for parties and events or everyday use. They also make beautiful wall hangings.
Part of the Tahiya Kariokka plate collection is sold individually or as part of a set of decorative plates.
