Designer Rana Salam uses a graphic on this kitchen apron from an original 1950s vintage Egyptian cinema poster. Featuring actors Huda Sultan and Abdel Aziz Mahmoud in ‘Taxi D’amour’ (Taxi of Love).
The movie poster illustrates a cyan-blue vintage Mercedes in which the characters meet and fall in love. Belly dancers are drawn naively at the bottom of the image with a striking solid yellow background juxtaposed with a rich red heart at the center.
